<faq>1) Virus? - It has been brought to my attention that some AntiVirus programs detect a Mal/DollarR-B virus in the Desktop Marks SA packages. This is a false alarm. The program in question is BWWebwiz.exe. It is only detected with Webroot AntiVirus software. It is bogus and is currently being investigated.</faq>
<faq>2) Relative weighting of marks is perfect for sharing a test type. For example, under Assignments, you could have 10 homework assignments weighted at 10% and have 2 assignments weighted at 100%. The net result would be homework weighted as one assignment. This also evens the mark if only one test category is selected, such as communication (for homework).</faq>
<faq>3) Desktop Marks SA 2008, now supports building a website without the need of purchasing Braunworks Web Archiver. There is a second red button on the main form that pops up a form to configure your website and your FTP connection to your website.</faq>
<faq>4) Desktop Marks SA 2008, now supports FTP over SSH, which means there is absolutely NO chance of someone hijacking your website. FTP is a very popular protocol for updating websites. Some ISPs offer a FTP connection over SSH. If they do, you should use it, and Braunworks supports it!</faq>
<faq>5) Desktop Marks SA 2008, now supports FTP over SSH, in batch mode, which means you do not have to wait for a connection to your FTP server or wait for files to upload to your website. You don't even have to wait 30 seconds!</faq>
<faq>6) FTP is a very popular protocol for updating websites. Some companies offer FREE FTP web space. www.0catch.com is one of these companies and offers a wapping 100 megabytes of FREE space! Desktop Marks SA websites have been tested on this site. You have lots of room for web documents as well. Desktop Marks SA only requires about 2 Megabytes of web space.</faq>
<faq>7) Velcom is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that offers FREE web hosting if you get your internet service through them. They will give you 100 megabytes of webspace and FTP over SSH.</faq>
<faq>8) Desktop Marks SA 2008, now has 12 new exciting website background images and another button colour scheme. The new option is located on the first page of the Website Configuration Wizard, in two dropdown listboxes.</faq>
<faq>9) The easiest way to get an image onto your website is to find one you like, using the Google Search Engine, save it to your hard disk drive and grab it into Braunworks Web Center SA, to make it the perfect size automatically. Once loaded in Web Center SA, use the red cropping rectangle to get an image about 320 x 240 pixels.</faq>

<faq>1) Folder names with spaces get converted to names with underscores? - If you use the Copy Up or Copy Down functions from the functions menu, spaces in folder names get converted to underscore characters because of a limitation in the system FTP library used. It is a bit of an inconvienience, but for most purposes, it should not be a problem. Just get in a habit of creating folders with underscore characters instead of spaces.</faq>
